CanadaLuxuriously soft
This is a beautiful vest. It is luxuriously soft & thick yet the knit / wool is structured enough to keep its shape. It is as if the wool fibre retains its “bounce”. The colour is lovely - a fawn. I also purchased a small men’s Edward cable knit — also luxuriously soft yet structured. I received so many compliments! It is very hard to find wool sweaters that are of the quality that my father’s/mother's generation took for granted (ie no sagging, pilling, drinking, etc.). McIntyre definitely would meet their standards. I was also impressed with their team’s thoughtfulness and communication. While the delivery to Canada took a little longer than expected (this is not a mass production/ global corporation — again, the quality of their knitwear make this evident) but they kept me in the loop and very kindly included some of their other (beautiful) items…as a thank-you. This wasn’t necessary (and I wouldn’t encourage them to continue doing this!!! - as customers should be concerned about how to support this locally-based company committed to producing such excellent knitwear).
